This was distressing on the deepest level. I don't think there's enough soap in the world to scrub away the feeling of disgust that this has painted onto my soul.
To be fair, that's what this seemed to be going for. Not my cup of tea, personally. Didn't love the art style on the characters; I feel it didn't quite fit the tone. If the style was a bit less surreal, (IE more cartoony to the point of cutesy, or more realistic to the point of overtly sexual,) it would make the terrifying backgrounds pop out much more.
To speak of the backgrounds, they were "gore"geous. They had a certain hellish energy that stuck to my ribs in a way I haven't felt before. I might use a few stills as inspirations for descriptions of hell in any tabletop games I run in future. I particularly enjoyed the imagery in "shit-hell." The idea of rats and flies being demons was a surprisingly fresh take. All in all, this wasn't half bad, despite the chunk it bit out of my sanity.
